Everything people ask before their first scan. Still stuck? Email hello@glimpseguide.com.

Is this actually legal?

Yes. Glimpse reads public resale listings and completed-sale prices, the same data any buyer can see. You're just seeing it faster, with the fee math already done.

How is “market value” worked out?

It pulls the real sold prices for the exact item, trims the outliers so one weird price can't skew it, then anchors to what things actually clear at, not the optimistic asking price.

Which marketplaces does it scan?

eBay, Vinted, Poshmark, Depop and Grailed, all at once, all live.

Can it write my listings too?

Yes. When your flip arrives, upload one photo on the cross-list page and Glimpse writes a search-optimised title and a full description built to sell. It reads the photo, names the brand, and tunes the wording to how buyers actually search, then you post it across every marketplace.

Does “profit” include fees?

Always. Every number already has resale fees and shipping subtracted, so profit means what actually lands in your account.

What can I flip with it?

Any branded fashion with a real resale market: sneakers, streetwear, designer, outerwear. The more identifiable the piece, the sharper the value.

How do you handle fakes?

Glimpse drops listings that flag as replicas (rep, 1:1, unauthorized, AAA, batch, etc.) and anything priced too far below real value, the usual fake tells. No tool can truly authenticate from a photo, though, so for high-ticket buys, use a platform with physical authentication (eBay Authenticity Guarantee, StockX, GOAT) before you pay.
